Disappointing Best in Jewelry Boxes & Organizers

I got this to see all my jewelry and keep it separate so it doesn't get scratched. The problem with the concrete, which I didn't think of until I had it, is that there is no "stopper" at the top. By this I mean my other jewelry boxes have ties on each side that prevent the lid from opening fully. This one doesn't and the lid actually fell off 2 days after I received it because I was holding it on my lap when I opened it and it completely cracked and ripped off. I'm mad at myself for buying 2 of these. Well it really is when you get what you pay for.
