My laptop's wireless connection has been disabled and I've been using this device for two years now. Works flawlessly. Internet speed is very fast. Download speed is very fast. I don't notice any difference in speed compared to when my WiFi was working. I installed it on Mac and PC and both work great. Setting up a profile is easy. The program starts working immediately after connecting the device. It even works with Wi-Fi sharing in programs like the GMOTE remote access app for my Android. You can easily find your IP address and network address. Performance data is very accurate. I recommend this product for computers without Wi-Fi and an empty USB port. Fast enough for desktops and small enough for laptops. Looks good too!
