At first I thought these candles were the same as others I've had in the past and they worked great. However, after a day, the tallest candle stopped responding to the remote control. A few days later more and more candles were extinguished at different times. Then they stopped working altogether when they put on the remote control. It doesn't look like a battery issue as it started so quickly but it definitely got worse and now none of them are staying on. When the batteries drain that quickly, the battery life is terrible. I can't imagine there being 2 batteries in each candle every week! I have had other brands in the past and have never had to replace the batteries within a few months of use.
