First yes! It worked! And after calibration, I tested a few games that drifted a bit, like Terraria, Dragons Dogma, and Rune Factory. Now they work perfectly. But. The kit was complex and required a better selection of tools. It was difficult to install. Especially for a thinking person. Even after watching some YouTube videos. * The battery connector required a thinner plastic pry bar than the one provided to remove it from the socket. I tried plastic forks, then found an older set I had and found a thinner removal pin. * There was no indication of which counterparts are for the right or left controller. black plastic not on the original which seemed to interfere yes I will say that seemed to interfere with insertion. See Similar Images Blue Band = Original, Middle = Short, Right = Long, Top = Short may stop working if the glass tip is removed. After trying to figure out the similarity, I found that the left analog tape was longer, so I decided that the longer analog glass tape should be used. But wait. Should I remove the lens to adjust, or was it something important? I decided to keep it after taking it off the shorter "now supposed" right analog tape. Next problem, I forgot what the tapes looked like and didn't know how deep they were in the sockets. *Please note this will only be half of what you think so I left mine and hope they don't slip off over time. *And yes, leave the black glass tip on.* Also, the R button has slipped off the top and almost lost the spring that sits between the button and the base it rests on. * Don't press the top of the controller when switching analog or you'll slide the R button and bounce like I did a couple of times. .After killing myself and wondering if I would have to start over and open the back to switch to a shorter analog or try to remove the glass tip or if the ligaments were all the way in I said* Forget it* and put it back together and uuuuu it worked as I navigated the menu system to calibrate the controller. Then I tried my games and Yes! Works now, no drift! Ahhhhhhh! In conclusion * Yes, the exchange worked! Why not 5 stars * Wrong plastic jack included, needs a smaller jack. *Needs some labels, we don't all know what's normal for the parts, fresh from factory. Realize that complexity shouldn't reflect product value or star level since it's based on user level, but people should be aware of what they're getting into. Appreciate the value, the extra colored caps and the extra screws. I love that the seller provided a thank you note and personal message and I wish I had left a perfect 5 stars. But that's my review and how I feel about this product.
