I have a 27lb Rat Terrier that is a bit heavier and has a deep chest. Even if he wasn't fat, finding a sweatshirt or coat for him was always impossible due to his deep chest but narrower back. I've tried so many coats and sweatshirts only to buy bigger ones and change them up myself. This hoodie is PERFECT and true to the size chart in this listing. He's 24 inches in chest, 14 inches in neck, and 18 inches in back, and it's just right. I also like that the hood doesn't close in the middle of the chest but has an opening so his collar and tags don't get caught in it like the other hoodies he has. super soft Haven't washed it yet but I hope it washes well as the quality and size of this shirt is great!
