Review on Fits 2006-2011 Honda Civic EX Si Key Fob Keyless Entry Remote (N5F-S0084A) by Omar Thorndike

Bought a used 2011 Honda Accord that came with one key only. Bought these two FOB keys, got them cut and programmed. Had to go to a locksmith because the dealer won't cut or program non-Honda keys. The locksmith told me that the chip in the new keys matched the chip in my original key. He told me that products made in China sometimes don't always work when you try to program the remote control. So, the keys were cut off, they could start the ignition because the chip allows them to sync with the chip in the car to start the engine. On the other hand, the remote control does not lock/unlock the doors or the trunk. The doors and trunk must be locked and unlocked manually. Of course I messed it up because I can't return the keys as they were cut out. The seller may try to refund the price I paid, but I've already lost the $145 I paid for cutting and "trying to program the keys" so I can keep them as spares as well.
