They don't work best with keyless entry systems

Doesn't fit my 2011 Pilot. You probably don't like it either. The key part is thicker than OEM and the key fob part is not programmable. It's garbage!

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Used to replace old parts

I have a 2011 Honda Pilot and the key fob stopped working about 2 years ago. Replacing the battery did not fix the situation. I thought $30 was a reasonable play and it paid off for me. I was able to disassemble the device, put in my old key and a tiny computer circuit board with a new backplate, and returned with the battery and arrow. I fixed keyless locks for my car. Very happy.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Unwanted products and terrible support

I ordered two of these keys, paid $50 each for cutting and then another $86 for programming. Key fob looked used. Now I have a key fob that won't open the car. They can only refund my money for the keys if I send them back. I don't have $186 and no keys, plus another $186 to program and cut two more keys. Never do business with these guys. Spend the extra $$ and real keys, don't use that junk and you'll have money upfront.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Remote works with my 2008 Pilot

Bought these to replace broken door lock buttons on my 2008 Pilot Key. I switched the remote control module from the new key to my old one. It fits snugly, no modifications required. Programming was a bit odd, you need to make sure you program all your buttons at once, including the button you use to enter programming mode. It took several tries to get it. We could only program 2 keys. It never worked when we tried to do 3. I didn't have to cut a new key or connect it to the ignition so I have…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Buyer beware. for keyless entry

Bought a used 2011 Honda Accord that came with one key only. Bought these two FOB keys, got them cut and programmed. Had to go to a locksmith because the dealer won't cut or program non-Honda keys. The locksmith told me that the chip in the new keys matched the chip in my original key. He told me that products made in China sometimes don't always work when you try to program the remote control. So, the keys were cut off, they could start the ignition because the chip allows them to sync with…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

I don't mind buying aftermarket parts and they don't have to be identical to the original parts which usually means they aren't exactly the same. But I assume they will work the same way! THESE KEYS ARE BOOM! Not only do they feel cheap, but the buttons on the remote are so cheap they either stick or you can't press them! They are crooked and don't sit properly in the key box. This is immediately apparent when you open the bag they come in. It's so bad in fact that one of the keys we received…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Worthless and non-returnable item.

These keys are unusable. I bought them for the remote control but none of them worked. Tried to send back but was told to pay return shipping and protect the keys in the box while they mail them to me in an envelope. I told them they weren't working and said the keys needed to be programmed by Lock Smith or the dealer, although I know there is a Honda recommended remote programming process for the remote part that is car owner recommended and requires no tools . But I gave them reason to doubt…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled
