Colors are GREAT! I gave it to my daughter as a surprise as she was interested in dying her hair. She was very excited to open the box and try them on. Since she has dark hair, she has to reapply it. The combs are small, she could easily hold them and apply them with her little hands. There isn't much dye on each comb and I think there is enough dye for two or three uses to completely cover the hair. Recently my daughter used it to highlight her hair and mine when we hung out. We have fun with this product together. It is highly recommended to use it as a gift for girls at Christmas.
