After several different types of keyboard protectors for different laptops, this one is my favorite. Flexible silicone, sticks well to the keyboard and protects the keyboard from dust, spills, etc. Kit includes (2) keyboard pads, one is clear and the other is colored. The border around the overlay is slightly different, don't know why, but both fit well. IMPORTANT NOTE. I had to return a previous keyboard overlay from another vendor as it turns out that HP has (2) different keyboard layouts that look almost identical but aren't. This applies to a newer keyboard layout in the same model. This was changed after about plus or minus 2015. Check ALL your keys on your keyboard VERY VERY closely and look at the curves around ALL the keys and see where the keys line up under each key and you will see every very small difference. Compare your overlay to the keyboard overlay you are purchasing and enlarge the photos to be 100% sure it will fit. These differences are VERY subtle and hard to spot unless you know what to look for. This is necessary to ensure you get the correct fit for your keyboard. Some providers are very good at reflecting these changes, while others are not. It didn't, but luckily for both styles I needed a keyboard overlay so I kept it.
