They protect against dust, hand oil, etc. I love them. It takes a little while to get used to tapping over the keys, but now that I'm used to it, I love it! I've always worried about dust and dog hair getting on the keyboard so I waited for them to show up before using my new laptop. Fits like the picture and doesn't slide off or anything.I'm using transparent at the moment and my only complaint is that it's a bit harder to type with.I write a lot so it's a bit of a shame but I would definitely prefer it , than having a messy keyboard that goes nowhere.

I couldn't place the clear top cover properly on the colored keyboard cover, making typing awkward and difficult. My only complaint is that the product doesn't match the colour, but I chose this product because of the colour. I'm disappointed because of that. The color is not only too light, but also inconsistent in some parts of the cover. *sigh* Lighter pink than I wanted.

I bought this keyboard case set in July and have been using it fairly regularly for the past 5 months. At first I was very satisfied with this product. The color was nice although it was more of a light blue than shown in the photos. It is on the black keyboard, but the color looks the same no matter on the keys or not. I like the color (mint/turquoise) and you can see the numbers and letters on the keyboard keys better. This is the main reason for getting it. However, when typing, silicone interferes with finger movement and makes it harder for me to type faster. A kind of sticky feeling on the keyboard and not so easy to slide with fingers.
