Review on πŸš— Pioneer AVH-2400NEX 7-inch Touchscreen Double Din Android Auto & Apple CarPlay DVD/CD Bluetooth Car Stereo Receiver by Brad Bryant

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pleasant experience

After first buying a cheap Chinese double din and being totally, deeply, extremely, etc etc disappointed with my purchase, I realized that when it comes to car stereos, you really do get what you pay for . The problems cheap shit leaves behind aren't worth it. I found a Pioneer AVH 2400NEX and was happy to pay for it. I've had Pioneer stereos before and have always been lucky. All these new two din car stereos are now computers that play music. I would expect a glitch or two here and there, but not a constant battle of pure escalation. I installed the radio myself. I pre-purchased a Subaru adapter and parking brake override and installed them before I installed them. Damn easy. I lit it and it quickly came to life. I went through the hum drum setup and then tried Apple Car Play. Works perfectly! Sounds very good, including Bluetooth and regular FM radio. He pulls into the station as it should. My Chinese crowbar was able to harvest barley at the local train station. All hands-free functions work perfectly. Hands-free sounds great. Again, the Chinese till never sounded clear and the person on the other end was always annoyed by the feedback and echoes. The 2400NEX is crisp and clean. So it's not a super high car radio, but it's not cheap either, it sounds and has a lot of features. I especially like Apple Car Play. Since I'm not an Android user, I can't comment on that. money well spent.
