Excellent surge protection quality, the plug is NOT biased.
Tripp Lite offers some of the highest quality surge protection splitters on the market. Many other manufacturers don't protect devices the way Tripp Lite does. The item I received has a 90° flat fork, but it is NOT offset as shown in the picture. You have to plug it in from the bottom (or top if your outlet is upside down) or the cord will block the second outlet. (-1 star for wrong picture)
