I received this as a replacement for a tie bag that came preinstalled in a woven laundry hamper I purchased from Cost Plus World Market. Who wants to tie six ties every time they want to take a laundry bag out of the hamper? So I looked around and found this. I don't need the lace part and it never occurred to me until now that I could just cut the thing out. But right now I have in my wicker basket a lovely oversized ecru cotton bag with the lid folded neatly over the basket, the drawstring tucked under the hem of the bag, completely out of sight. . I like the bag to be visible a few inches below the lid of the basket and this allows me to do this without sacrificing the bag's space within the basket it is placed in. It's also a thousand times more convenient than the six communication kits it replaced.
