It was a bit difficult to install but determination wins! My issue with the stand is that the legs don't sit flat and wobble a bit. Because the holes in my set are closer together, the stand post is narrow. They are not far apart as can be seen in the promotional photo. I used a 32 inch TV and didn't set the TV to the highest level as you can see by the protruding tips of the legs. tip over. The smallest hit will cause your set to panic. I wish I had the patience to return the stand, but I don't have. For the extra price of the straps I could have gotten a stronger monopod. To compensate for the wobbly legs and keep them from sliding on a smooth surface, I cut out and place small pieces of cabinet liner (interlocking type) under the legs. If you look at my 3rd photo you can see the red glue pieces out. with the straps installed and attached to the legs with the same screw. Overall it does the job. Just remember that you will definitely need the straps to keep your kit from tipping over.
