I benefited from previous reviews of this bag which motivated me to buy it, so as a self-proclaimed luggage lover looking for the perfect 'everyday work bag' I decided to throw in my two cents. . I've posted pictures of everything I wear to work. For 9 years I used the Swissgear Scansmart laptop backpack which was a workhorse and served me well but I found it too big to take on Singapore's crowded commuter trains. A large bag takes up too much personal space and is difficult to maneuver without my rear end swinging and hitting another passenger (very polite culture here!). I needed a smaller everyday bag that would allow me to carry everything I needed and keep me out of unnecessary stuff. repacking. I was initially drawn to the professional skinny bag based on the reviews I read, but being a 5ft 8 person I expected this bag to hang too low for me and hit my butt when worn. I took a risk I chose the Junior Slim instead and I don't regret my choice at all, if I were taller I would definitely go for the Pro Slim. affects our posture and our health. The chest strap is removable, but why take it off?It works as intended - spreading the load on the chest and relieving the shoulders. If you are carrying a full bag with a laptop and you are standing in one for a long period of time crowded train, you'll feel a weight on your shoulders, which in turn will stretch your neck forward and eventually tighten your lower back. The bag keeps the center of gravity very close to the spine to reduce postural fatigue. The excuse I hear from many people for NOT using a chest strap on their bags has to do with the feeling of constriction. eBags cleverly elasticized one side of the chest strap to give a little flex and solve this problem. Another detail that caught my eye reflects the craftsmanship of this bag: the elastic side is additionally reinforced with a non-elastic strap to prevent it from stretching too much. The idea that someone took this feature into account and incorporated it into the design of the bag amazes me. Bravo ebags AESTHETICS I was willing to switch from a traditional student/camping style backpack to one that looked more sleek and professional. I was also looking for a simple bag without flashy colors or flashy logos. I chose black because it seems more formal and appropriate when I have to wear my business presentation gear. Also, it's difficult to discolor a black bag if accidentally spilled. FUNCTIONALITY. The stand-alone bag REALLY impressed me. The bag will NOT tip over once you've packed up your laptop and cable garage, otherwise it will become heavy at the front. The laptop compartment has enough padding to protect your computer from dents IF the bag is dropped vertically (an expensive lesson I learned). The plastic clasp that attaches the straps to the bottom of the bag feels solid and doesn't have to be metal as other reviewers suggest. The straps easily detach and quickly slip into the clear sleeve on the back of the bag when I decide to put the bag away or carry it as a briefcase. Flat, well-padded handles that are strong and comfortable to grip from above or from the side. The previous reviewer mentioned that it was a heavy bag. If you weigh over 140 pounds, the weight of this bag is negligible. A good rule of thumb is that the bag you carry every day shouldn't weigh more than 10% of your weight. CAN YOU MAKE THE ARTICLES? Yes, perhaps. Every day I pack my uniform, laptop, glasses, toiletries (deodorant and oral hygiene), portable battery, power cord, iPhone charger, some files and a lunch box. Like most people, I tend to pack to fill my bag, which inadvertently leads to overpacking. The Professional Slim Junior is perfect for the things I carry with me 80-90% of the time. There were times when I had to take a tripod and stabilizer with me, no problem. This requires removing the adapter's sturdy garage to make room in the main compartment, and voila, space is maximized. I don't even mind that the zippers open in one direction. This is not a problem as things can be put in and taken out without intervention. It's a smart design as the panels won't fold over and the bag will tip over when the compartment is opened. I stow my USB cable and iPhone in the padded iPad compartment and can connect the charging cable between the battery and phone with the zippers almost fully closed. I stuff my portable battery into one of the large pockets in the swing-door storage compartment. What I like about this subject is that everything I carry with me has a "home" - a special place where I can keep it and easily access it when needed. I've recommended placing bulkier items (deodorant, power bank, or glasses case) in the apartment's garage rather than on the hinged door panel to reduce the bulge protruding outwards or inwards toward the main compartment of the bag. If my shirt is folded well, I can put it in the back compartment just in front of my laptop, freeing up space in the main compartment for a lunch box, some books, etc. I have been carrying and using this bag for a year a week now. I'm on my honeymoon and am enjoying this product. I will update later in 6 months. Don't waste time. Buy a bag, it's a safe choice. You can't go wrong.
