Review on 13.3" Notebook DELL INSPIRON 5379 2-in-1 (1920x1080, Intel Core i7 1.8 GHz, RAM 8 GB, SSD 256 GB, Win10 Home) by Indal Singh ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I would definitely recommend the purchase, I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

Upon purchase, I immediately replaced the regular HDD with an SSD, installed Windu (more for office needs) and, for the sake of experiment, the Chinese Phoenix OS, while I left it to run Android games and multimedia without any emulators and virtual machines, everything worked in it, as they say out of the box (touchscreen , touchpad, wifi). When reading / viewing reviews, I noticed not very flattering reviews about the screen, glossy, not very bright, etc. In fact (subjectively) everything is not even bad, the screen is like the screen of most laptops. The bezel is thick but doesn't bother me. I am satisfied with the purchase.

Pros
  • I decided to take a transformer, I chose for a long time in terms of price, compactness, performance, I reviewed all the well-known brands, I almost already chose it and then I accidentally saw this model. There were few reviews, in the reviews on the Internet, no one was particularly enthusiastic about this model, but the following bribed. - Linux is installed, then the choice is yours, what to do with it, if your hands grow from the right place; - the possibility of self-upgrade, you can add memory, install an SSD; - the price, which in my opinion is quite adequate for this equipment, and in comparison with analogues is very pleasant.
Cons
  • When starting on the first day and working for a long time, the laptop got very hot and the fan began to make a lot of noise and was noisy even in idle time. Now I don't see any such problems.
