I ordered this comb because I needed a more flexible yet strong comb for braiding my daughter's hair, brushing my son's hair and grooming my hair. We also have the Clippermate 904 and both are great. After our wash, condition and detangle ritual, we used this comb to part the hair and evenly distribute the hair products. It is also very suitable for parting and straightening the hair. These combs have not broken, broken teeth, or started snagging on our hair, so we will continue to use them. Order another for backup or travel. 904 was even better!
