This product seems to work fine, even with lightning strikes and power surges. This product offers a significant amount of joules of protection. This product has a comfortable feel and solid construction. The only downside to this product is the fact that it has no mounting options and a 90 degree connector. Most surge protectors today can be wall or rack mounted, this power supply is neither and lacks any mounting options without modification. The 90 degree plug requires this surge protector to either occupy two outlets on a wall/rack outlet or be limited to using only the bottom outlet. This is frustrating when dealing with a lot of power equipment.
