This is an almost EXACT replica of the OtterBox Defender. Except for the rubber outer shell. It is very easy to install, although there are no instructions. BUT again, it's exactly the same as the Defender and I would say the parts are interchangeable. There are three parts and the plastic inside is falling apart, but be careful. There is also a cover inside the circle to keep it from opening and protect the back of the phone. I will most likely not use a clip that looks well done but I never trust them. This will tax the phone heavily, but anything else is a waste. The iPhone X is made of glass and is strong, but still fragile. This case protects ALL sides and features a generous front and back panel that protects the camera and front glass. Screen protectors fit perfectly as most don't go from edge to edge. This is NOT a thin case and is designed to protect your phone, not just a pretty accessory although it looks very pretty. I see NO difference between this and the protector, and it's MUCH cheaper.
