We have very dark cabinets next to our fridge. In fact, we had a flashlight next to it so we could look inside even during the day. These lights have invaded the closets and we can finally see. They light up when you open the cabinets (each has two shelves, so I used all four) and go out shortly after closing. We had them for a month or two and charged them once although they still worked. Saved a lot of time and effort by installing lights that are cord tethered and easy to charge. I installed them with little effort, but ended up gluing a magnetic base to the cabinet because it didn't hold up at the top (easy to fix). We love them and we can actually see what's in the closets! So that I don't have to change the motion settings when loading, I put a small cap on the round sensor. This prevents them from turning on and off when sitting outdoors.
