Great but the stand just doesn't work

It gets some bad reviews for not fitting New 3ds xl which doesn't match the product description. The new 3DS hasn't been out very long in the US, so I'm not surprised that people know about it. So I'm surprised this product even exists. I like the smaller form factor, but I get cramps in my hands during long gaming sessions. This makes the New 3DS very comfortable to hold. The only downside is the footrest, not sure what it's for as it doesn't work as a stand at all.
