Like I said, it's very bright. However, due to incompatibility with US cable color codes and a very non-standard mounting ring, every part of the setup was a mess. It would be highly advisable to put something in or on the box detailing which wires on the light fixture go to the wires in the ceiling. NOTHING other than the links in Revain's Customer Q&A section. For reference, on my unit, the BROWN (not RED) wire goes to the black (aka "load" or "hot") wire on the ceiling. The BLUE wire connects to the common (WHITE) wire. The mounting ring was particularly problematic as it required the customer to install drilling and anchor bolts (not included). The slotted holes for the mounting screws do not match the holes in conventional ceiling junction boxes. You, as the installer, need to come up with a scheme that is right for you. No installation instructions! I would not buy this lamp again.
