Review on Premium Real Touch Frasier Grande Artificial Christmas Tree - 5/6/7 FT by Kenneth Broszko

Our first purchase was a Costco tree which was fine (very heavy, in a big box, easy to install) but the wrong one Type of wood I wanted . I prefer deep green trees with softer branches. I searched Revane's trees, hoping to find him in time. I've never had an artificial Christmas tree before, but this one is good. The delivery was faster than promised. There are no lights on the tree, which I prefer because I don't want to burn down a section I can't fix. I'm in my 60's and the box was light enough for me which was a bit annoying at first. According to the instructions it took 2 hours. If you are not a patient person, this may not be for you. I found it relaxing. I recommend looking at a photo of branches on a live tree to see the effect you're trying to achieve. I'm posting a photo of my tree before decoration so you can see it without masking. I find it very nice. The base (see photo) seemed flimsy, but it's pretty solid. You can see small gaps between the branches, but if you look at a real tree, it also has open gaps. If you don't like it, you can eliminate the gaps by just playing with the branches a bit. The lower branches were too far from the next layer for my liking, and knowing it wasn't real my eyes were on the metal parts of the arms next to the trunk. To fix this I made a small candy shaped hook out of the back inner branch of each section and attached it to the layer above. This worked beautifully by raising the lower branches slightly. Next year I'm thinking about painting the silver forearms with brown or green paint. If you fluff well, the metal won't be visible, so it's fine. Each of the fan-shaped sections has some stiffer branches at the front, while the innermost branches are softer and slightly different in color. The combination adds realism and the stiffer branches prevent the decorations from pulling down the branches. I am very happy.
