Great jeans belt! The buckle is high quality and keeps the belt secure; there is no slip at all. The strap is very long so I cut it off with a sharp dull knife using the old strap as a length guide. A few long strands of fabric were left, which were cut with scissors. The cut end was then heated with a soldering iron, which melted the cut strands together to create the finished look. I experimented with additional strap material to ensure there were no surprises before finalizing the strap. I was very happy with the result and it was very easy to do.
