Review on πŸ”’ BITIWEND Wireless Door Sensor: 600ft Range, 58 Chimes, 5 Volume Levels - Perfect for Business/Office/Home/Store Security & Alert System (1Sensor+1Receiver) by Matthew Perez

Better than before

In my store, the door alarm was so loud it gave a decibel warning and customers started complaining. This one is much better, with a huge range of ringing options, although many of these are things like single ring, triple ring, or beep. We use the Westminster chime, which is long enough to alert us that someone has entered but not long enough to be intrusive. The main disadvantage is that the volume only increases and when we have all the devices in operation you can't always hear it. Also, the gap area from sensor to sensor is so small that I had to increase the mounting base by half an inch to make it sound. The building we are in is old so the door frame is heavily inset which made the gap too big for the sensor. But a stack of plastic wrap taped together lifted it up to the point where it now works great. However, keep in mind that an upgrade may be required to make it work with your door, and it's not loud enough for a machine shop or other noisy environment. Otherwise we are quite satisfied.
