I had to remove the door panel on our van and I noticed that the speaker foam from the original Toyota door speakers was completely rotted. I ordered these Kenwoods because they were reasonably priced and I figured anything with a reputable brand name like Kenwood should sound better than a 19 year old speaker that has rotted away. Well, to be honest, I was wrong. The original rotten speaker had much more bass and a more dynamic sound. These Kenwoods reproduce less detail in the music and have no bass. Very disappointed but finally I find out that we really do get what we pay for. They work and are easy to install, but if the sound of your music is important to you, keep looking.
