does what it says Looks better than on the picture. Coil whine when connecting an RGB keyboard.

I like this product in general. Does what it says (it's a proper dock, not a hub), looks like it supports 4K at 60Hz over HDMI as I'm getting 144Hz with a 1440p monitor. Also, my Samsung S9 says "Fast Wireless Charging" when I put it on the charging station. I also like that it doesn't use a fixed USB-C cable as I can use a long (2m) cable and have flexibility in placing the device. Looks better in reality than on the picture. Doesn't look expensive but solid. My only issue is that while the USB ports work fine, when I plug in an RGB keyboard (I have an Alienware AW768), the unit produces coil whine (high frequency hum). It bothers me enough that I put the device under the table so I don't hear it. This seems to be caused by the extra power draw of the keyboard - for example, if I turn off the RGB backlight, the coil whine goes away. Got a replacement hoping I only have one fault, but the second one found the same issue so I think it's a design issue. Another issue is that the cables attached to the dock make it bulky. That means it basically has ports on three sides (all four if I include an audio jack and SD card reader). So when I plug in power, HDMI and a few USB cables, it takes up a lot of space. It's not a defect or anything, just a design issue - wish it was bigger and had all the ports on the back for better cable management. Because of that and the coil whistle issue, I put it under my desk, rendering the wireless charging pad pretty much useless. Despite the coil whine and design issue, I really like the device and decided to keep it - it's a great docking station, supports 4K@60Hz over HDMI, has multiple USB 2.0 ports for your peripherals, looks solid, maybe flexible with a USB-C cable, and the price is quite affordable.
