Who would have thought?! They look great and work! This is a very good set and a wide range of sizes. Nice group. The "Flame" sways and sways and is just as mesmerizing as the original. This is the most amazing optical illusion you can ever see! I am very glad I bought them as I have grandchildren and I love to light candles on holidays and other family gatherings. With them I never have to worry about a curious toddler getting enchanted by the candles and trying to reach them and although I've never made them with real objects in the past, who knows when their curiosity will kick in. the best? I'm so glad a remote came with it, I didn't even find it necessary and almost silly, but I've been using them every day since they've been around. It has so many settings for the time and brightness of the candles that it is actually a very useful and almost indispensable tool to get the maximum benefit and satisfaction from them. The lid on the base of each candle is very easy to take off and put on (no tiny screws!), allowing for quick and easy installation of two AA batteries. Immediately ready to go! They can also be used on a table or mantle, etc., as they are elegant and beautiful "as is", or they can be "decorated" with candle rings, etc. for any holiday. A gorgeous centerpiece or here and there in the house is perfect for these gorgeous, inexpensive candles anyway, and they'll make a lovely addition to your home decor all year round!
