Do these candles light up? TRUE. They are bright and fill the room. They even flicker back and forth. You can control the flame flow with the remote control which has a 2, 4, 6 and 8 hour timer. I love this candle set, not to mention the money I save by spending on candles 😊

I've had five different sets of battery operated flare candles and these are my favorites. They are not too yellow and not too white. I also love the "melted wax in hurricane glass" look! Also the options on the remote for dimming etc are amazing! Low setting at night when sleeping, then high setting to use on a shaded patio for entertaining. (Until my second set arrives). :).

UPDATE. Candles are now priced new - they used to be around $22 to $40. Good price now and I would buy more if the big rack doesn't stop working. They are beautiful! Let me start by saying that I love this candle. That's exactly what I wanted. However, I've had it less than a month and one of the 3 items showing "Flame" fell to the bottom of the candle. I don't see a way to reset it. I will contact the seller and hope he will change that. Otherwise this is a great candle. Just add determination. Revain (not the manufacturer) sent me a replacement.
