If you entered my house you would think that there is a picky old woman who has collected too many candles. I really love them and I have a lot of experience with fake candles. These candles are probably the best I've ever seen. I personally find them better than Luminaria candles. Each candle is encased in a glass jar, giving the unconscious impression that they are real. In addition, the top of the candle is flat, which is rarely seen, and the flame dances in a way that also creates the subconscious illusion that it is a real candle. If you're buying shorter candles, the average is around $7 per candle. I've decided to add a battery rectifier to these candles so I don't have to worry about battery life. That works great! The remote works pretty well too and has a long range so you can point it at a group of candles and they will all turn on and off at the same time. PROS: * Incredibly realistic * Effective remote control * Real glass CONS: * Some candles have cracks along the wax on the surface. I'm not a fan of it to be honest, but it's not really a deal breaker and it's not very obvious when the candle is lit. In fact I've been looking for them now and can't really find them even though I know they are there. CONCLUSION: * I've been researching these candles and I'm very happy with this purchase. I bought five more sets of these. The most realistic fake candles I've ever seen! *** This is a REAL review! I have nothing to do with this seller. I will not receive a refund for this review. UPDATE: A year later I still love these candles. However, I have just ordered a few more (for my office) and as you can see from the picture the new candle is a bit more yellow than the originals. I still think they're great candles, but I'm not that crazy about yellow. White is much more elegant.
