With all of the discussion regarding its stretch-ability I went a size lower than I normally would for my slender 7 yo, selecting a 4-5T. The stretch is good but the upper chest area goes lower than I imagined. I regret not getting a bigger size for her, even if it were loose the strap options can snug the leotard up well. Bought these pants for a Halloween costume so I wasnt expecting much from a one time use pant but wouldn't you know it, I loved them. This trainer has some inherent design flaws unless you already have a waist. For one, I don’t understand the point of the eyelets because this trainer won’t zip unless you can secure the last eyelets . so why have them? You can’t close the velcro extensions unless the trainer is completely zipped because the extensions aren’t long enough even though they’re stretchable. This item was folded into a bag which was too small for it creating dents that did not come out when unfolded. This was most likely a return not put in its original container as there were 3 different labels on the plastic bag. Very disappointed.
