With all of the discussion regarding its stretch-ability I went a size lower than I normally would for my slender 7 yo, selecting a 4-5T. The stretch is good but the upper chest area goes lower than I imagined. I regret not getting a bigger size for her, even if it were loose the strap options can snug the leotard up well. The same size fits perfectly on my petite 5 yo and can for a while. I may not have read closely enough but I was pleasantly surprised when the leotards came with a clear strap too. That was a bonus for me.
