Great for fabrics!

I just used the paper and tools provided for my tracking and the picture shows how good it turned out. The fabric is brushed microfiber (polyester), the pillowcase is quite nice, I put a hard surface in the pillowcase and made a tracing paper. I stapled the tracing paper and pattern to the pillowcase. I applied some pressure and also went through a few times to secure the transfer. I feel like I got better results than I expected! I was worried this fabric would take the pattern because it's so soft, but it looks like it did a great job. Believe it or not, I had a bug on the tail section and to remove it I used a velvety lint brush. and started again. therefore, if necessary, it can be easily removed without washing before sewing. I do not recommend removing the fluffy brush after embroidering. and haven't tried washing to see if it separates easily from fabric when finished will update review afterwards. As there are many sheets in different colors in the set, it may be a while (only used 4 for a pillowcase) before I have to restore them, but I will definitely do it! This is not a reusable style, I made the silly mistake of placing the copy side on the pattern instead of the fabric and it still left a reference to the pattern. So if you are having this problem, this might be the case. Make sure the shiny side is facing the fabric and not the design. Yes, I read that, but I still accidentally put it the wrong way round. :) Very easy to use. The paper is thin carbon/tissue paper, so it's not just for drawing a pattern on a sheet. If you are hand drawing your artwork, first draw the design on plain paper and then place it between the tracing paper and the tool. Absolutely fantastic product for tracing a pattern onto fabric.

Pros
  • Perfect Replication: Ideal for transferring designs, a design copied through carbon paper is clear, lines are complete, and different colors give different effects.
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank

Works great for transferring embroidery patterns to fabric. Paper is very thin but does the job
