Review on Ultimate Comfort: Updated Large Inflatable Pregnancy Pillow for Home & Outdoor Use by Melissa Taylor

Revainrating 4 out of 5

So far, so good! the best in pregnancy and maternity

I've only had it a week. This review will reflect that caveat, but over time I firmly intend to come back and update this review as I gain more experience of ownership and use, so please stay tuned! I must have such a pillow and when I travel it is always difficult to take my huge pillow with me or to go without it. I've been looking for an inflatable pillow like this for a long time. I jumped at this opportunity to have it. I got it about a week ago, blew it up and slept with it for two nights. It works out. I felt good. I inflated it, deflated it and folded it back up to fit in my suitcase and it did VERY well. I myself blew it up once and once used an electric pump from an air mattress. Both worked fine. If you can pack a pump in your luggage, chances are you'll be glad you did. Mouth inflation made me dizzy, but it wasn't impossible! It didn't take long either, so if you don't have room for a pump, you'll still be fine (and a little dizzy). It works well both fully inflated and soft inflated, but I prefer softness. It's flocked to keep it from slipping out from under your back. Thanks to the flocked texture, it stays where you put it. I liked it. Others may prefer to put a suitcase on top if you have one. I use it "upside down" from the images, so the connected U shape isn't under my head, it's at my feet. This works much better for my preferences. The ends of the "u" are long and easy to move, so it's pretty easy for me when I go to bed to raise my "u" arm like a gate and then tuck it between my knees and arms after I lay down Getting in and out of bed in the middle of the night is doable. You don't have to get the entire pillow out of the way. The stitching is a bit sharp and the nozzle used to inflate really sticks right in you but you can reposition it once you figure out what's bothering you but it's uncomfortable until you do but like that inflatable boats are manufactured. I was VERY concerned that air would leak out of them during use, which I haven't. The nozzle closes well and tightly. I have no bad seams or holes. Hope it stays that way! I'll let you know. smell of plastic. This was to be expected. I let my gas run out for a day before attempting to use it. It wasn't strong enough to make me nauseous or give me a headache. I think after a while if more gas is released it may even go away and not smell at all. I'll let you know again. So far so good and I will keep this review up to date. If I don't write anything, it's most likely because this review is still standing and hasn't been edited yet! We can hope! UPDATE: 2022 --- still awesome. Been with me on many trips. A good product that has proven itself!
