It has relatively good colors for a portable monitor, but as you'd expect, it lacks brightness compared to a full-size monitor. The monitor has its own speakers, but the sound is comparable to the phone speakers. While this monitor is ostensibly "portable," I think it finds itself awkwardly stuck between portable and permanent due to the need for an external power supply. A total of 2 cables are required for this, one from the computer and one for the power supply. This makes using the cables quite messy and forces you to carry a few items on the monitor itself when using it on the go. This makes it better suited to temporary home/office setups where you know you'll have an outlet (e.g. on your kitchen counter).
