As someone with terrible foot problems this is probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. And you can credit a very clever Nunn Bush design for making it happen. To explain: memory foam/gel resting on a strong yet flexible bottom tread. This means they work together to absorb and disperse shock, and the rubber/cushion doubles up to create a nice layer of comfort between your foot and the ground. Feet - Toes don't grind. The same leather feels incredibly durable, another asset in Florida's often harsh environment. I have no idea why all the other shoes I own didn't choose this one. It also eliminates the literally annoying break that only leather boots have. Fourth, a nice extra (and semi-elastic) pad that runs right across the back of the boot adds even more comfort. This eliminates the annoying chafing caused by up and down friction on the back of the foot. Finally: you look good. A stunning mix of casual and formal means they pair well with jeans and trousers. As an obsessed Cole Haan, I'm shocked I like this so much. Great shoes.
