I had these as a child, only they were high suede shoes. It would be great if they came back - hint, hint ;). These shoes feel good and fit me fairly well, but are a bit snug without being uncomfortable. I think for me it's just that I like a little more room in my shoes and it has nothing to do with the actual fit of those shoes. In my opinion they are more comfortable than Converse. Like I said, they seem to be of good construction, but I haven't had them long enough to see how they would wear. My 16 year old daughter liked them so much I bought her a pair and she loves them.
