I bought this scratching post because of the reviews as a large scratching post. While some might consider it large, it's not by Texas standards. This is not the manufacturer's fault. My angry friend still liked lying on top with the bottom half ripped off and getting stuck in the box... but in this case, size does matter. His furry butt popped out of the basket and the tower toppled over. Again, this is not the fault of the manufacturer. My friend is just bigger than life. If your fluff weighs less than say 12 pounds that would be delightful...something fluffier, you may want to find a larger tree.
