Original replacement cartridges are insanely expensive. For some wicked reason the printer won't print a black and white text document because the color cartridges are empty, forcing me to replace them. I came across them while looking for Brother brand cartridges. The price is unbeatable. The appearance of the cartridges is different from the Brothers brand. Looks a little cheaper as expected. The cartridges are installed properly. The printer has not made any claims and has recognized all color cartridges as refilled. I made a test print of a photo on regular copy paper. The picture looked good. The ink didn't bleed and the colors were crisp. I have no complaints and am very pleased to receive 10 cartridges at a great price. Other reviews said the ink might fade over time. Maybe it's true. I do not intend to print photos from the family album. I just have to type some crap every now and then, and as long as it works, I'm happy. And when I print a photo I can't tell how well the ink works on glossy paper. I'd probably buckle up and buy Brothers ink if great quality was my intention. Bottom Line - I 100% recommend these for your average user as they currently are.
