I was worried about how durable it might be but was pleasantly surprised. I use it to keep two screens on the same level. However, it's not that easy to set up unless you take the laptop off and put some force into it! It might sound annoying, but at least I know the stand won't wear out anytime soon and throw away my work laptop. I also like brushed metal over something super shiny since we have a lot of windows in our office.
