I actually used it for something else. I read his part number mentioned in the GM TSB about a rear washer fluid retention issue. I have a '98 Dodge Durango with a separate rear tank. They tended to fill up with rainwater and then freeze and burst in winter. I removed that tank and rebuilt my front tank to run both washer fluid systems. When I did this I had an issue with gravity return to the front tank and it took me a few seconds to spray the rear window on almost every use. I moved it just a few inches from the spray nozzle and it worked great. I only have maybe 1/8th of a second before it sprays like it should. People said it was trend-setting, but nobody could agree on how to determine which way is the right one without just plugging it in and trying it out. . So I tried both ways. Both have lost fluids. So I just assembled it and it works great no matter how I set it up. I thought it was probably just a valve that is normally closed until pressure is applied to it in some direction.
