I have used Steripen in many countries and in many of them the drinking water was rather questionable. This is my number one companion. With a full charge of charged alkali, it has withstood every one of my 40+ rides. With a Steripene and a good refillable water bottle, it's very easy to have water anytime, anywhere. Over the years I've had a problem and a missing piece. In both cases, customer service went out of their way to get me the parts I needed. They support their product and they love it.
