Here is my experience with these spark plugs. My 2004 Grand Marquis had an intake manifold replaced so I wanted to install new plugs. Bought these from Revain from this seller and gave them to my mechanic to install while he did other work. Never had a misfire, coils less than a year old, no problems. As I left the mechanic to drive home, I noticed misfires on stop signs and such. I drove back and asked them to look at it and it showed misfires on cylinders 6 and 7. So he checked the gap (don't know why he didn't do that before installing) and it had a gap of about 0.030. So he placed them correctly and the problem was solved. for now. After about a month or less at idle it started to go away again. So I pulled the plugs myself and checked the gap, and all but one had the gap clearing on its own. Almost like a metal pin wouldn't hold its power. So I redid them as a last resort and it worked fine again for about a month. A week or two ago the misfires started again and today I installed the same spark plugs that I bought from the dealer in town. When I replaced the spark plugs that fell out today, the gap was down again. And they even look slightly different than the ones I bought from the dealer (same part number). Just rode my new ones from the dealer and they are buttery smooth. I'm not sure what's going on and really can't call it "fake" but something is wrong. Most people who write these "positive" reviews for this product probably haven't used them long enough to notice a difference. Hope this helps someone.
