I bought a couple of "Band" headlights from Costco for cheap (about $12 a set) about 3 years ago. They recently stopped working so I bought a new set ($40). I was shocked at the price. They include three light strips, but only one controller and remote control. After reading the reviews on this product I decided to try and get the old headlights to work and/or use them with new bands so they work regardless of the single controller/remote provided. I have two old lamps that no longer work and the idea of spending $80 to replace them seemed crazy to me. Wow, this product did not disappoint. I connected the new controller to an old TV and it worked straight away with both the new and old remotes. Using another old lighting kit, all I needed was a new remote control to get it working. It was a cheap and easy way to get old headlights working without reinstalling anything (command hooks, etc.). Needless to say, the $40 lamp set was returned unopened. I highly recommend this product if your old headlights no longer work and you are too cheap or creative to buy a new set.
