Recommend but check your plug type

I bought instead of the one that came with my light bar from the same manufacturer. The original HF sensor was damaged by me and had to be replaced. ADVANTAGES: The remote control is larger with more pre-programmed functions. CONS: It has a socket. just like my light stripe. I had to splice and solder wires, which worked for several hours and then stopped. I can't say why, but it would be nice to have a male-to-male connection just in case. I would only recommend if you have extra connectors…

Turns on unassociated lights but not the one it's associated with? Happen.

I bought these because I had some extra lights and wanted to be able to put some lights behind the IKEA mirror to mimic other lights behind my TV. The remote control is not powerful enough to reach the receiver even when behind a very thin glass and wood window. I even relocated the receiver outside of the mirror and screwed it to the tree below, but it still wasn't strong enough. So while it works and the remote works, they still can't be used. The remote also makes my other lights go haywire…

Compatible with Minger RGB Lite LED strings

This is the same dimmer and remote control that you get with MINGER 16' and 32' LED strings. The only difference is that these dimmers DO NOT have an adhesive backing for easy installation. If needed, you can purchase double sided tape and/or small screws to attach the dimmers. I bought a box of 5 of these units to use in different places around the house. NOTE: All remote controls control ALL dimmers! It's actually not that bad because I now have a couple of extra remotes in case one breaks…

Intermittent failure

Several times the remote control stopped working and even when pressing the buttons on it the light bar flashed sharply in a different color. Although it seems to be working fine now. EDIT: The problems I had with it in the beginning didn't persist and as another user reported it is possible to reset the RGB controls. While this doesn't affect my rating, I will note that this is different than the older Supernight. Controllers that came with their light bars. The receiver end is FEMALE while…

Great way to get old headlights working again

I bought a couple of "Band" headlights from Costco for cheap (about $12 a set) about 3 years ago. They recently stopped working so I bought a new set ($40). I was shocked at the price. They include three light strips, but only one controller and remote control. After reading the reviews on this product I decided to try and get the old headlights to work and/or use them with new bands so they work regardless of the single controller/remote provided. I have two old lamps that no longer work and…

Really works, unlike smaller linear models

White LEDs were factory installed on my bus under each cupboard/alcove, behind window sills, along steps, ceiling medallions, etc. I changed them to RGB which makes it convenient to change colors to prevent infestation of flying insects on the lake. (Red performed best.) If you're thinking about buying small built-in LED controllers, just buy them because over 6 small guys have failed in a couple of weeks. They have now been active for over a year. TIP: If the color of the buttons on these…

RGB controller with REAL RGB FADE (none of which fades to black)

This thing is great, it has tons of color options and even offers custom RGB editing. I used this to update the LED controller in my computer After buying a RGB kit from another manufacturer, what is the reason? This RGB controller provides a TRUE RGB FADE and not one of those transitions to black and then another color. It changes instantly from one color to another and looks fantastic. the associations are wrong, mine works fine, probably because it's from a newer batch, at least it's been…

Fix wrong RGB mappings

Okay, I've had a lot of feedback on a device that changes how the controller box works (not the console of the controller itself). After several days of searching for a solution, I found one buried in the deep web. The controller is cheaply made but, oh my god, won't break cheaply in your hands. The remote is of poor quality, but not much worse than the remotes you get with car stereos. The internal welds on the control box are well done, but this is where the problem starts. The controller was
