This is the same dimmer and remote control that you get with MINGER 16' and 32' LED strings. The only difference is that these dimmers DO NOT have an adhesive backing for easy installation. If needed, you can purchase double sided tape and/or small screws to attach the dimmers. I bought a box of 5 of these units to use in different places around the house. NOTE: All remote controls control ALL dimmers! It's actually not that bad because I now have a couple of extra remotes in case one breaks. These are LINE OF SIGHT remotes and are good at around 20 feet and you need to point the remote at the dimmer.
