I drank about 5 bottles of water for my almost 2 year old. I didn't want there to be no leakage because then you would have to suck very hard to get very little out. I've used the Nuby Flip straw for a while but the straw was flimsy so it didn't come out enough and needed too much suction. Got the "simple modern" 10oz which was good but too much for a toddler. Although it was good for my 5 year old. Another problem I had with "plain modern" was that it spilled out after a day in the fridge due to pressure or something. I've moved on to it. and it's almost perfect. The amount that comes out is perfect, regular vacuuming. It's not too big and fits small hands well. The only problem is that it doesn't click into place once opened. So for the baby, after a few sips, it kind of moves away, and then it won't come out because the spout is out of place (I'm going towards the close). I'm using it now but still looking for something 100% suitable for my needs. Although the design is very cute! **Today it fell down when I opened it and a lot of water came out until I put it upright. So when it's lying open on its side, it leaks a lot.
