Review on πŸ’¨ DEEPCOOL Theta 9 Air-Cooled CPU Cooler - Efficiently Cools 82W by Agata Skibiska ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I expected more from buying, but not the worst option.

The photo shows the case in which it is installed. Case width 100 mm. When replacing the standard fan, the noise has significantly decreased.

Pros
  • For my situation in a very narrow case, that's it. The cooler itself dissipates quite well, the Pentium G4520 in the passive is 45-49 degrees, but that's where all the advantages end.
Cons
  • At first I was delighted, but the fan itself turned out to be noisy. The speed is not regulated and therefore it works at full speed (2022 rpm). I had to turn it off and fit a low-speed 140 into a case with a back wall mount.

Mounting legs live 3-4 years. Installation requires dexterity and skill. Cools fine.
