The top nut broke off after about 4 months of use.
Did a good job initially picking large quantities of pepper quickly and the fineness/fineness adjustment worked. Although the threaded shank is larger than other similar grinders, the thread on the top nut broke after 4 months leaving the top loose which could result in salt spurting out from under the lid. Now just grind roughly by pressing the plastic top down. I've had similar grinders for 6-8 years and never had this problem.
- Classic grind adjustment: turn the top knob tighter (clockwise) for a finer grind; looser (counterclockwise) for coarser grind
- Not as thick as other picks
