There are compromises that one learns to accept/learn to accept in life. All in all, a laptop gives you portability and freedom at the expense of the compelling performance and extra power that a multi-monitor layout can offer. That is, until you come across this monitor. I find this monitor amazingly portable, light and thin. When not in use, I can mount this monitor in the same compartment as my laptop in my backpack. The extra weight is hardly noticeable. I've been wearing the monitor to and from work every day for several months now and the monitor is holding up great. The construction is solid and the screen coating gives me full confidence that I can wear this monitor for years without any problems. Speaking of the screen lid, this is a very nice rendition of the lid that doubles as a stand. Thank you to the designers for such a simple yet functional idea. Another aspect where this monitor performs well is its screen-to-bezel ratio. The bezels are very thin and this screen makes the most of the space. I know this monitor is advertised as 100% sRGB, which I believe has to do with how vivid the colors displayed by the monitor are (although I could be wrong). Either way, you don't have to be a techie to see that this monitor really looks great. You can see in my picture that the colors are much sharper on this monitor than on my laptop. The touchscreen works fine and I pinch/zoom/scroll with my fingers instead of using a mouse. Super handy and easy to use. Another handy note: this monitor connects to my computer with a single USB-C cable, which provides both power and signal to the monitor. Extremely easy to set up and put away every time. While this monitor comes with a wide variety of cables (USB-C, display, etc.), I would suggest purchasing a USB-CL shaped cable if you plan on connecting your laptop through this cable, as there may be a little long is easier to bring the monitor closer to a laptop. But the included cables work very well. Without a doubt, this is a great monitor and highly recommended for anyone who cannot compromise between portability and performance.
